Important: This article is a continuation of articles that explains how the Causality Formula works.  If you have not read the previous articles please read the home page first.  It will help you understand how this formula can solve personal, national and global problems.

Section 1.01 What Is Causality
(a) Causality is cause and effect.
(b) The study of causality is the study of understanding why things happen, what cause created this effect.
(c) Each person represents one variable in a sea of variables. Think of each person as a water molecule in an ocean of people molecules. Make a splash in the water and all the molecules are pushed, all molecules feel the effect. We are interconnected by causality, cause and effect. When a negative experience happens to one person that negativity often carries on to all people. One person may not experience the exact same effect but never the less they will feel an effect that they themselves have little or no control over the process. The same is often true of positive causality.
(d) Another way to visualize causality is to use simple bar magnets. With a magnet positive and negative attracts, positive to positive repels as does negative to negative.
A problem is negative for the purpose of this metaphor. Problems seem to find you so let’s say the negative problem is attracted to your positive self. Your are a bar magnet with your positive side connected to the negative problem magnet. The negative side of your personal magnet is exposed and that is what effects every other person. Now every other person has problems too. The negative side of their magnet is exposed. Now what happens when the two negative sides try to come close? They repel each other. We become distant. We become divided. Now what if you had no problems and both sides of your magnet were exposed? Then obviously you could connect with others and find unity, quality relationships, etc. This is simply a way to visualize the cause and effect of problems. They prevent us from unifying, from happiness.
(e) Causality involves more than just people and their actions and in-actions. Causality involves everything, the total living environment, politics, all the sciences, technology, everything. Causality is a stream of causes and effects that branch off in countless directions once there is a catalyst, something to start the cause and effect process.
(f) There is a logical linear progression to everything. This is called causality. There is a cause or multiple causes and then there is an effect, then effects that branch out from there. But don’t let this make it seem impossible to track. It is not impossible. A well developed mind can easily grasp causality. There are categories to causality that reduces all the variables down to a few primary things to visualize and feel.

Section 1.02 Why Use A Formula To Solve All Problems
(a) We cannot resolve our national, personal and global problems until we have a formula that properly addresses all the variables in the cause and effect process.
(b) A formula provides us with a systematic approach, a scientific process for removing problems instead of using guesses and many repeated mistakes.
(c) With a formula we can try to solve a problem, determine exactly how well it worked by how many people, Systems of Civilization and Systems of Nature continue to be harmed, then systematically reconfigure the formula as needed to continue to lower the amount of victimization and harm until that number reaches the ultimate goal of zero.

Section 1.03 What Is The Causality Formula
(a) The Causality Formula explains why. It explains why this caused that. No matter how much power a person or a nation has it can not solve a problem until it knows why this caused that. Knowing what caused that effect is helpful but not as important as why. Why is the most important thing to know. It is also the thing least taught in universities. Do you want to know why they don’t teach why? Because they don’t know why. They don’t see the full spectrum picture. They encapsulate everything into separate sciences. And one science stays conspicuously separate from the others. They only see a fraction of the picture through a very narrow lens. They don’t know why because they fail to say, “I don’t know, so I will learn this too”. Why is a puzzle with pieces found in every science and discipline.
(b) The formula encorporates all sciences into one easy binary system of zeros and ones. Only this binary code can be easily understood by humans because the zeros are negatives, things that shouldn’t be done in specific situations, mostly systemic things, Destructive Primal Behaviors. And the ‘ones’ are positive, things we should do in specific situations, again mostly systemic things, Cortex Values.

Section 1.04 The Causality Formula Can Prevent, Solve And Repair Any Type Of Problem
(a) The Causality Formula has the potential to prevent, solve and/or repair:
   (i) personal problems
   (ii) community problems
   (iii) national problems
   (iv) global problems
   (v) all problems and issues at every level

Section 1.05 Causality Formula Uses
(a) The Causality Formula will be used to determine the causes and effects of power struggles within all systems of civilization.
(b) The Causality Formula will be used to remove power struggles and the power brokers that cause them.
(c) The Causality Formula will be used to predict human behavior in all Systems of Civilization.
(d) The Causality Formula will be used to predict how Systems of Civilization will be changed by human behavior.
(e) The Causality Formula will be used to enhance each and every System of Civilization by understanding why, how, where and when catalysts happen causing a problem to emerge.
(f) The Causality Formula can be used to find solutions to remove all problems found within the Systems of Civilization and Nature. All these problems will be resolved by the government and/or public systems (utilities or organizations).
(g) The Causality Formula can be used as a template of ethical behavior.
(h) The Causality Formula can be used as an evolving formula/database incorporated within a constitution. The formula is a set of rules which would prevent any problems from forming within a civilization. It would also remove the problems that currently exist.

Section 1.06 The Causality Formula Is Provisional
(a) It is a formula that is designed to expand as humans learn more in all disciplines of study, all sciences using scientific method. It will always grow as we continue to learn and evolve our knowledge. The citizens in every discipline of science will add to this formula routinely. The formula will always be in a provisional state. But since it is a culmination of our best knowledge, ranked by double blind observational study, it will render the best possible solutions given our limitations of knowledge.

Section 1.07 Full Spectrum Of Cause And Effect
(a) The Causality Formula will cover the full spectrum of cause and effect by maintaining lists in various categories which address all variables found in the Systems of Civilization and Nature.
(b) The Causality Formula will cover all motives, opportunities and methods which may effect change within the systems of civilization and nature. This will include voluntary and involuntary actions and in-actions.

Section 1.08 The Causality Formula Makes All The Systems Of Civilization Problem Solving Machines
(a) The Causality Formula is a set of rules which all the Systems of Civilization must abide to prevent and solve problems.
(b) The formula can be used by individuals on a personal level. But its primary function is to solve problems systemically. Systemic problems represent the bulk of problems endured by individuals. This is not common knowledge. People blame themselves or others blame you for your problems. But this is actually rare, very rare. Causality proves this. Most personal problems start at a much higher systemic level. Most people fail to see the chain reactions that occur from the systemic level to effect the individual level.

Section 1.09 Resolving Problems Using The Causality Formula
(a) The Causality Formula consists of a simple list of Destructive Primal Behaviors with another list by its side consisting of the alternative Cortex Values. Destructive Primal Behaviors are everything that causes problems. They are the motivations, opportunities and methods used by people that eventually leads to the formation or perpetuation of problems. The Cortex Values listed next to the Destructive Primal Behaviors list are the guidelines that should be used by each System of Civilization’s set of individual rules.
Each System of Civilization has and needs its own set of rules but the Cortex Values are the guidelines for each and every rule. These rules are used within all the Systems of Civilization and all the Systems of Nature. When these rules are adhered to by these systems then there are virtually no more problems.
So the Causality Formula provides the supreme rules which must be followed by each of the systems own unique rules. This most often means that we must adopt an entirely new set of Systems of Civilization. There are currently no Systems of Civilization on earth that adhere to all the Causality Formula Cortex Values. This explains the problems. These flaws in the rules will become very apparent to you as you learn them. They should make perfect sense to you.
But some won’t initially. The reason for this is that you have yet to read the other rules that work with the rule that doesn’t make sense to you. All the rules together from all the different systems work together to make a solution or prevent a future problem. Remember this above all else. It takes systemic cooperation and precision to solve and prevent problems.
(b) The Causality Formula is designed to reconfigure the Systems of Civilization. There is no way to solve an individual problem without reconfiguring all the Systems of Civilization to use only Cortex Values. Any attempt to do otherwise is futile. So the procedure is to create a new column to the right and put as the heading the name of one System of Civilization. Then write the rules for every action and decision made by that system and its operators so that they always comply with the Cortex Values. Keeping the Systems of Civilization simple, not complex, makes the job of removing problems much easier. It also prevents new problems from forming.

Section 1.10 How The Causality Formula Removes Motives Used To Cause Problems
(a) The Causality Formula eliminates all motives for causing any type of problem:
(i) by using a simple checklist of Primal Behaviors showing what is not permitted. 
(ii) by providing the alternatives, the Cortex Values which indicate the correct method for all decision making and actions taken by each person within each System of Civilization. 
(iii) by educating students of all ages how Destructive Primal Behaviors cause problems for everyone, and how this always comes back to causing problems for themselves via interconnection and causality. 
(iv) By removing any systemic promotion of Destructive Primal Behaviors, 
(v) by removing all systemic rewards given when any person or group uses Destructive Primal Behaviors,
(vi) The motives are thereby removed.

Section 1.11 How The Causality Formula Removes Opportunities Used To Cause Problems
(a) The Causality Formula eliminates all opportunities to create problems:
(i) by using that same checklist as the guidelines when developing each System of Civilization. Only Cortex Values can be used.
(ii) by clearly defining the doctrine to be followed on all actions taken in any situation within each system so as not to give people the opportunity to make destructive actions due to poor judgments,
(iii) by strictly regulating and controlling all resources as listed within the Causality Formula,
(iv) by removing all power brokers and dominance based relationships and replacing them with true equality and communality (not communism),
(v) Learn everything about the victims. Learn who, what, where, when, why, and how they are victims. For this we would need very accurate statistics that are not manipulated by any political, corporate or other power broker agenda. Since these statistics do not exist this makes ‘accurate statistics’ our first problem. Stats must be protected from manipulation, disinformation, misinformation or any form of distortion or propaganda.
(vi) Follow the money or other resources from the victims back to the beneficiaries.
(vii) Provide alternate positive Cortex Value opportunities with such variety for each circumstance as to give every person the opportunity to make a positive and constructive choice.
(viii) The opportunities are then removed.

Section 1.12 How The Causality Formula Removes Methods Used To Cause Problems
(a) The Causality Formula eliminates all methods to cause any type of problem:
(i) by simplifying the Systems of Civilization to the greatest degree possible making it easy to detect and resolve problems,
(ii) by monitoring those systems for all problems completely,
(iii) by monitoring the people when working within those systems,
(iv) by making those systems as transparent as possible,
(v) by maintaining an active law enforcement capable of arresting any person or group (power brokers or other) corrupting any system,
(vi) by holding each and every person within each system truly accountable,
(vii) by providing a daily status of each system to quickly detect any problem,
(viii) by immediately initiating a solution to any problem that develops,
(ix) by investigating the cause of every problem,
(x) by implementing a method to prevent that problem or anything similar from ever happening again,
(xi) by actively resolving every form of victimization so that victims do not cause problems,
(xii) The methods are either eliminated or fully monitored for prevention.

Section 1.13 The Fundamental Flaws With Diagnosing Past Problems
(a) In humanity’s ignorance we have blamed unclean thoughts, or evil, or possession by demons, or witchcraft, or the devil himself, or maybe we have just blamed greed for wealth and power. Because of this improper diagnosis humanity is left unbridled, left to cause great harm upon both its own civilizations and nature. Poor diagnosis always leads to failed solutions. With the correct diagnosis problems for the first time are now treatable.

Section 1.14 Destructive Primal Behavior Or Cortex Values
(a) Destructive Primal behavior lies at the heart of most of humanities problems since before time was first recorded.
(b) Primal Behavior is not good or bad. There are situations when Primal Behavior serves people. Primal Behaviors and Destructive Primal Behaviors work in a purely natural environment, in nature. Most of it is genetically encoded within each of us. This genetic software code did not evolve within civilizations and therefore does not work within civilizations.
(c) Destructive Primal Behavior is extremely corrosive and destructive in modern civilization. The more modern the civilization the more destructive ‘Destructive Primal Behavior’ can become, if inappropriately used by public servants during the course of their duties. Or if citizens use Destructive Primal Behaviors during the course of their duties, for example during democratic elections… Or if Systems of Civilization are based on promoting or rewarding Destructive Primal Behaviors.
(d) Cortex Values are those rules, decisions and actions taken using the higher, more evolved brain functions. These values must be used as the rules for replacing all Destructive Primal Behaviors within all the Systems of Civilization. A more comprehensive definition of Cortex Values is provided later. For now this is enough.
